This agreement shall come into force upon the signature by both parties hereto. 2. The Laws of the Republic of South Africa shall in all respects, govern this contract. 3. All rates are: - quoted and payable in South African Rand(ZAR). - inclusive of VAT at 14% for South African properties or as indicated otherwise. - quoted on a per person, per night basis inclusive of tourism levy where applicable. - issued either COMISSSIONABLE as indicated, or NETT, exclusive of commission. - gate fees for game reserves are non commissionable. - all extras and activities are nett and non-commissionable. 4. Caraville reserves the right to amend all tarrifs should there be any change in VAT, statutory levy or tax becoming payable by Caraville after date of acceptance of this contract. 5. STO rates are strictly for foreign incoming travellers only and may not be used for the local South African Corporate and Leisure markets. Disregard of this condition could result in additional charges being levied. 6. Rates at NETT level are strictly confidential and failure to respect such confidentiality could result in withdrawal of the rates. 7. The allocation of rooms on the quoted rate may be limited and Caraville reserves the right to limit availability accordingly. A surcharge may be applicable during peak periods, such as Christmas, New Year, Easter, long weekends and public holidays. 8. Check in time at all venues is from 14:00 with the check out time being 10:00. 9. Final rooming lists and estimated time of arrival are required 30 days prior to arrival. Once final rooming lists have been submitted, any subsequent reduction in group size greater than 10% will attract 100% cancellation fees. 10. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT POLICY Days prior to arrival 0 - 14 31+ FIT`s & self drive 100% Small Groups (up to 10 pax) 100% 50% Large Groups (11 pax plus) 100% 100% Groups: -Up to 10 pax - (rooming list min 30 days before arrival) -11 pax and more- (rooming list min 60 days before) All bookings can only be secured by a deposit or credit card authority at the time of making the reservation. 11. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation days prior to arrival: Days: 0 - 7 8 - 30 31+ FIT`s/self Drive 100% 50% - Small Groups(max 10) 100% 75% 50% Large Groups(min 11) 100% 100% 100% Cancellations will only be accepted in writing, and please NOTE the special National Parks terms below. Seasonal variations to the above may apply. 12. TERMS OF PAYMENT - Full payment must be made prior to arrival as set out above to ensure that bookings are not forfeited. - Caraville reserves the right to cancel services requested if payment is not made on due date. - National Parks bookings cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival will attract a 100% cancellation fee. - While all reasonable care is taken, all services are undertaken on the basis of the individual hotels standard limited liability and terms, as well as Caraville`s standard trading terms. - Clients are expected to take out their own adequate personal, cancellation and curtailment insurance cover. - All prices are subject to change and availability. - Unless specifically stated as a CONFIRMATION of reservation, no bookings have yet been made. - Where credit facilities have been arranged, all accounts must be settled 30 days from invoice. Failure to do so will result in credit facilities being suspended, and bookings being cancelled. 13. GUIDE POLICY - This varies between different properties and hotel groups.
